Austin, TX, 11th August 2015; Iasa Global announces the immediate availability of a new service for corporate members - Iasa Engagements – a hands-on approach to fast-track the development and maturity of architecture capabilities, connections and relationships, complementing the benefits of corporate membership.

Global corporate members leveraging the wide array of benefits include Dell, MetLife, Merck, T-Mobile, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Central Bank of Ireland, Towers Watson and REI, among many others.

“T-Mobile is pleased to announce Global Corporate Membership of Iasa Global,” said Katherine Barnes, VP, and Delivery Assurance at T-Mobile. “At T-Mobile, we are focused on enabling a rich collaborative architecture community. The Iasa training and certification program will help to improve the skills and knowledge of our Technology Architects, allowing us to better execute on our “Un-carrier™ Delivery” strategy.”

The Director of Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Planning at REI, Gabriel Morgan adds:

“IT Architecture is a relatively young profession and working with Iasa brings us a unique opportunity as a channel for learning best practices as well as a channel for sharing best practices.”

With mergers, acquisitions and frequent reorganizations, the majority of technology architecture teams realize they are poorly aligned, do not have a sufficient understanding of business and are concerned about their place in the evolving digital economy.

Despite an increase in trained human capital, many firms want to accelerate and standardize how architects engage. Corporate members asked Iasa how to develop this further, and faster, as they mature towards an outcome-focus Architecture capability. As technology complexity increases and business depends more on technology, architects in large organizations already recognize the career impact of professionalism, chapter participation, training and certification provided by Iasa for individuals.

An Architecture Center of Excellence, builds upon the IT Architecture body-of-knowledge (ITABOK) and incorporates the necessary internal and external connections and relationships. With relationships across communities and local chapters and with the ITABOK providing proven process, artifacts and methods for business engagement, organizations can drive adoption and alignment of architecture with business value and outcomes, guided by expert Iasa Architect Members.

Certified Architects will now be able to engage directly with Corporate Members to grow the impact an Architecture team can have in medium and large organizations across both business and technology. By directly engaging a top Architect who has shaped and led architecture teams in the past, Iasa Engagements accelerate the change for such teams, whether 10 or 100 architects.

Working on-site, documenting a baseline across people and process, identifying a forward-plan and establishing or enhancing an existing Competence Center, this offer builds on the experience and IP from the various Iasa Frameworks. Programs for Executive Awareness, Mentoring, High Potential Architects and Team Leadership align with whole team Certification where needed.

Iasa is committed to helping Corporate Members reach their business goals by driving the quality and impact of architects across the organization. Iasa Engagements provides direct, hands-on support to drive the implementation of best practice complimenting Education, Research, Outreach and Communities. Iasa Engagements accelerate the changes needed to attain higher levels of “modern” technology architecture, stakeholder alignment and business outcomes. Introductory Webinars for the new Iasa Services will be held on August 19th, 2015 for different time zones. To attend, please register at: http://bit.ly/1JSHDVR
