Teriyaki Madness will be bringing its unique Pan Asian flavors and delicious made-to-order meals to Fairfax. The popular fast casual restaurant concept is known for its bold flavors, high-quality protein, fresh vegetables and house-made sauces made from family recipes.

Fairfax Owners Tejal and Akhilesh Patel, a husband and wife team who left their corporate jobs in computer networking and consulting to follow their dreams, plan to open a total of five Teriyaki Madness restaurants. They are planning a grand opening Aug. 15-16 for their first location in the Fairfax Shopping Center.

“We are truly excited to bring the Teriyaki Madness brand to the Fairfax community and look forward to introducing four more in the area,” Tejal said. “Teriyaki Madness exceeds people’s expectations of a fast-casual experience; not only with the quality and taste of our food, but with the fun, quirky atmosphere and experience we create for our guests”.

“Teriyaki Madness continues to expand to meet a growing demand for Asian food and dining that is quick, fresh and satisfying,” said Erin Hicks, Executive Vice President. “We offer a twist to traditional Asian meals with our teriyaki style of cooking high-quality protein and our house-made sauces.”

Grand opening weekend activities include a ribbon cutting at 10:30 on Saturday; giveaways and raffles. And the owners have partnered with Make-a-Wish Mid-Atlantic -- where Tejal has served as a volunteer -- to donate proceeds from sales of Teriyaki Kids Bowls to the nonprofit.
