Farm Credit Hosts Day at Delaware State Fair

Local agricultural lender, MidAtlantic Farm Credit, hosted Farm Credit Day at the Delaware State Fair on July 29.

To be able to support such a beloved event in our territory is a point of pride for us, and Farm Credit Day is our way of showing our unwavering commitment to both the agriculture community and the fair itself.

MidAtlantic Farm Credit hosted Farm Credit Day at the Delaware State Fair on Wednesday, July 29. The fair, which brings in over 300,000 people from across the DelMarVa region, was held July 23-August 1.

“We look forward to the Delaware State Fair each year as much as our customers do,” says Kenny Bounds, MidAtlantic Farm Credit’s DelMarVa Regional Senior Vice President. “To be able to support such a beloved event in our territory is a point of pride for us, and Farm Credit Day is our way of showing our unwavering commitment to both the agriculture community and the fair itself.”

Many of MidAtlantic Farm Credit’s staff members handed out entrance tickets to customers who came by the booth, which was located at the Main Gate. Others volunteered to work at the Grange booth and Delmarva Poultry Industry’s booth.

“Giving back to our customers and supporters is a big deal to us, and we are thankful that we were given the opportunity to do it again at the fair this year,” says Bounds.
