With its inclusion in the Inc. 500, Ampush joins the ranks of distinguished companies such as Microsoft (1985, #163), Zappos (2007, #474), and Pandora (2011, #391). The company's growth is a result of Ampush’s focus on cross-platform mobile-advertising on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest. It's also consistent with results the company released in its Q2 2015 benchmark report, which details pricing and spending trends based on mobile advertising campaigns Ampush deployed for some of the nation’s top companies. In Q2, Ampush saw 152% year-over-year growth in mobile advertising spend, and 28% growth quarter-over-quarter. Methodology

The 2015 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2014. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2011 is $100,000; the minimum for 2014 is $2 million.
