Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) August 12, 2015
The Walk For Wishes is a 5K or one-mile walk, run, and wheelchair race. It takes place at the Henry W. Maier Festival Park on August 22nd. Walk for Wishes is open to all ages and benefits the Make-A-Wish® Foundation Wisconsin Chapter.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has teamed up with Boston Store, Pick ‘n Save, and HOBO to help make wishes come true for four local children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Registration is free to those who pre-register by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21. The money raised will go towards making wishes come true for deserving Wisconsin children.
Everyone who raises $75 or more in pledges will receive an official Walk For Wishes t-shirt if your pledges are turned in to Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin the morning of August 22nd.
Together, these businesses are working to make a difference in some very special lives. Visit jsonline.com/makeawish to view each child’s story.
