UNIT partners Continues to Show Culinary Chops — Selected as Branding Agency for Hi Neighbor Restaurant Group's New Concept
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 17, 2015 -- Currently, UNIT partners is in talks with select clients about publishing culinary book titles and developing brands for 3 new restaurant concepts, from fast casual to fine dining.
This is part of UNIT partners’ larger mission of providing quality restaurant branding and graphic design services to clients within the taste-centric realm, in which they are quickly becoming the go-to branding agency for culinary heavyweights around the Bay Area, and beyond.
What do fast casual restaurants, like San Francisco Soup Company, have in common with culinary destinations like James Beard award-winning Chef Michael Mina’s collection of top restaurants? A brand strategy and graphic design agency that’s making a big name for itself in the restaurant/hospitality, retail, and consumer packaging industries.
“It all started with Tauzer Apiaries. We developed the brand and packaging for their line of Sola Bee Farms honey products,” says Shardul Kiri, Co-Founder and Creative Director at UNIT partners, LLC. “It seemed to kick off a trend in culinary projects for us.”
Shortly after, San Francisco Soup Company hired UNIT for a brand overhaul and ongoing marketing support. According to Owner Steve Sarver, “We found something really special in UNIT. They became an extension of our team, working with us on product development as much as driving sales and growing our customer base. With the introduction of our new brand, Ladle & Leaf, they’re focused on helping us stay relevant in today’s competitive dining market.”
And San Francisco Soup Company wasn’t the only restaurant group to discover UNIT’s particular culinary bent. In the past few years, UNIT has partnered with the award-winning Mina Group on brand work for four of its premiere properties from Miami to San Francisco, including PABU, The Ramen Bar, StripSteak, and Locale Market. UNIT has also created brand work for Hi Neighbor, a new restaurant group known for celebrated spot, Stones Throw, and newly-opened Trestle. Currently, UNIT is also working on a rebrand for pan-Asian, fast, causal restaurant, Bamboo Asia, which will re-launch in late 2015.
“It makes sense,” says Ann Jordan, Co-Founder and Creative Director. “We’re foodies ourselves. We live in the Bay Area and we’re deeply immersed in culinary culture. What’s exciting is that we work on everything from quick commuter lunch concepts to properties for Michelin starred restaurateurs, which each have their unique challenges.”
UNIT does open its roster to include tech companies, nonprofits and B2B firms, but these days, there’s a clear focus on food, which is evolving organically. With a signature approach centered on client collaboration, UNIT captures the essence of their partner brands, elevating typical logo work to include signage, packaging, architectural and interior collaboration, brand experience protocols, websites and apps, retail displays and menu designs.
“Their holistic approach really brought my concept to life,” says Rohini Moradi, founder of Roya Spirit, a line of stevia-based simple syrups. “UNIT understands the personal passion that goes into food products, and they translate that in a way that stands out on a shelf.”
