Technology Marketing Veteran Armen Najarian Joins ThreatMetrix as Chief Marketing Officer

Najarian joins with more than 15 years of B2B and technology marketing experience, primarily with cloud-based software and data-driven solutions for the enterprise.
Najarian joins ThreatMetrix from IBM, where he held senior global marketing roles within the IBM Cloud and IBM Commerce business units. He brings substantial experience in team leadership, brand management, product marketing, content marketing and business development to ThreatMetrix. In his new role, Najarian is responsible for all worldwide marketing functions including strategic positioning, corporate branding and communications, industry marketing, and demand generation.

Najarian previously served as vice president of corporate marketing for DemandTec, culminating in the $440 million acquisition of the company by IBM in 2012. Following the acquisition, Najarian joined IBM, where he led worldwide go-to-market strategy and category awareness for the IBM Cloud portfolio of more than 100 SaaS offerings. Najarian also helped launch a content marketing discipline for the $8 billion IBM Cloud business unit, leading to new customer-facing content experiences such as the “Thoughts on Cloud” news property.
Prior to his six-year tenure with DemandTec, Najarian held senior marketing roles at startups and Fortune 500 companies, including Softcoin (acquired by YOU Technology), Gateway, Avery Dennison, Velosel (acquired by TIBCO) and ConAgra Foods. Najarian holds a bachelor of science in accounting from University of Massachusetts at Lowell and an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
