ABC Executive Producer of “Boston EMS” and “Save My Life: Boston Trauma” Docuseries to Speak at EMS World Expo 2015
Fort Atkinson, WI (PRWEB) August 14, 2015 -- EMS World Expo, North America’s largest and most internationally attended EMS conference and trade show, announced today that ABC’s award-winning executive producer, Terry Wrong, will be speaking at the 2015 EMS World Expo on September 17 and 18, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. Wrong is the executive producer of “Boston EMS” and “Save My Life: Boston Trauma,” along with the critically-acclaimed “Hopkins,” “Boston Med” and “NY Med.”
Wrong will address attendees at the Opening Ceremonies and Keynote presentation, which will take place on Thursday, September 17 at 10 A.M. That evening, from 6-7:30 PM, and on Friday, September 18, from 2:30-3 PM, he will speak about his experiences in producing “Boston EMS,” which debuted on ABC July 25, as well as share the intimate details of working alongside and filming the EMS providers of Boston EMS, one of America’s most seasoned team of first responders.
“Boston EMS” provides a compelling glance inside the world of EMS providers,” said Nancy Perry, Conference Program Director for EMS World Expo. “We are excited to be able to showcase some of the stories behind the scenes for the EMS World Expo audience.”
In “Boston EMS,” viewers ride along with the men and women of the Boston EMS, one of America’s most seasoned team of responders. These same crews answered the desperate calls of runners and spectators two years ago when the bombs went off at the Boston Marathon.
In “Save My Life: Boston Trauma,” viewers get unparalleled access to top tier trauma teams inside the emergency rooms and operating rooms of the nation’s most prestigious hospitals including the Boston Medical Center, Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s.
Terry Wrong has produced 10 documentary series, part of the more than 60 hours of documentary work he has authored over the past 25 years. Before the “NY Med” series, Wrong produced three earlier medical series about some of America’s most renowned medical institutions; “Boston Med” in 2010 went inside Massachusetts General, Brigham and Women’s and Boston Children’s Hospital. In 2008, “Hopkins” marked a return to Johns Hopkins Hospital, widely considered the nation’s premiere medical center. He had first chronicled that institution in a landmark series that aired in 2000.
