PureCars Named to Inc. 5000 List for Second Consecutive Year

Automotive advertising technology company ranked 335

Inc. Magazine has ranked PureCars, provider of the leading digital advertising platform for the automotive industry, No. 335 on the ninth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

With offices in Charleston, Milwaukee and Atlanta, the automotive-focused Google Premier SMB partner also ranks third for top South Carolina businesses as designated by Inc. PureCars’ 1,401 percent revenue growth in the past year led to recognition from Inc. and makes them the largest and fastest-growing company in South Carolina in the top 500.

Employee growth has also accelerated to match the increasing needs of their clients. PureCars has added over 100 jobs in 12 months and expanded to a new office in downtown Atlanta in June. To fill the new space, PureCars is looking to hire more than 40 new employees.

It’s been a year to celebrate thus far for the PureCars team. In June, PureCars received Globee Awards in two categories recognizing their achievements in personnel and sales growth. The awards are a part of the Silicon Valley US Awards. In December of last year, the team was selected to be a Google Premier SMB Partner, one of only seven in the automotive space.

The Inc. 5000 list is the most comprehensive benchmark of America’s independent entrepreneurs—a vital component of the U.S. economy. The top 500 companies on the list, of which PureCars is included, achieved an impressive median growth rate of 1,772 percent with companies collectively generating more than 57,822 jobs.

Methodology
The 2015 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2014. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2011 is $100,000; the minimum for 2014 is $2 million.
