Katie Desmond, formerly Director of New Business, has been promoted to Chief Business Development Officer & Partner; Patrick McPhail, formerly Director of Operations, has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer & Partner.

Katie joined iMarc in 2010 as Director of New Business and leads the Business Development team at iMarc. Katie has driven substantial growth at iMarc over the last five years and has brought 14 years of web experience including project management, strategy and digital marketing. Katie has worked with many of iMarc’s esteemed clients, including Mimecast, Atlantic Broadband, RSA Conference, RSA Security, VMware and Demandware. Prior to joining iMarc, Katie served as Senior Interactive Producer at Amp Agency and as Senior Producer at Mullen.
“Katie has been at the center of iMarc’s key business initiatives and has been instrumental in growing the company’s client base and business development team over the last five years. She is perfectly positioned to be iMarc’s new Chief Business Development Officer and this promotion recognizes her contributions to the company as an individual and as a leader,” Grant states.
Patrick McPhail joined iMarc in 2006 as a Web Developer and currently leads one of iMarc’s three production teams. Patrick has over a decade of engineering and project management experience; producing applications, branding materials and providing online strategy to iMarc’s clients such as Motorola, Starwood Hotels and Barnes and Noble. Patrick plays a pivotal role in working with iMarc’s clients to define and understand their goals online. Prior to working at iMarc, Patrick worked at General Electric and Bombardier Capital.

As the company continues to take on new projects at a steady rate and prepares for a major expansion and move into Amesbury, Massachusetts, the promotions mark significant growth for the 17-year old company.
