Industry Experts Help Select Most Innovative Construction Companies

Each year Constructech honors construction companies that have leveraged technology in an innovative way to improve business practices.
Today, Constructech announces the distinguished panel of judges that determined this year’s Vision Awards finalists, which includes AECOM, Construction Coordinators, Inc., EE Cruz Co., Inc., Faith Technologies, Inc., Hensel Phelps, Hoar Construction, Klorman Construction, L.P.R. Construction Co., Marek Brothers, Master Plaster, Nalcor Energy, Northwestern Medicine, Performance Drywall, Pinnacle/CSG, Inc., Pomerleau, Rosendin Electric, Source Refrigeration & HVAC, Inc., Tim O'Brien Homes, and Turner Industries.
The 2015 panel of judges include: Ed Anderson, Construct-X; Christian Burger, Burger Consulting Group Inc., Pietro Ferrari, George Brown College; Mark Federle, Marquette University; Carol Hagen, Hagen Business Systems Inc.; Donald Kaplan, The Rhodes Group; Anoop Sattineni, Auburn University; Bob Stewart, First Capitol Solutions, LLC; and Bill White, Purdue School of Engineering & Technology.
Entries are evaluated on how the construction company has used technology in an innovative way to solve a problem to improve their competitiveness or create a better working environment for employees. The judges look for the company that best explains the challenge, how technology was innovatively used, and what the payoff of the solution is to the company. Companies are awarded a Gold, Silver, or Bronze in their appropriate category. Constructech also recognizes the hardware and software suppliers that have enabled the construction company to achieve its goals.

Judges scored companies that entered for the 2015 Constructech Vision Awards. The winners will be announced at a ceremony closing the Technology Day event, which will be held on August 27 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Schaumburg, Ill.
