"Community is at the heart of everything we do at FirstService Residential."
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) August 18, 2015
FirstService Residential recently organized a two week food drive benefiting United Food Bank. United Food Bank is a local Feeding America affiliates that distributes food and education about hunger to a 25,000 mile area in the east valley. This effort resulted in a collection of 1,111 lbs of food.
“Community is at the heart of everything we do at FirstService Residential,” said Pam Rottner, Vice President of Business Development, FirstService Residential Arizona. “What better way could we give back to the communities we serve than by helping to feed hungry families and raising awareness around this important cause? This is another way we strive to make a difference for the residents and communities of Arizona.”
Over 400,000 children in Arizona do not have access to nutritious food during the summer months when school provided meals are not available. For information about future charity events organized by FirstService Residential, please contact the corporate office at 480-551-4213.
