MedStar Mobile Healthcare Selects Fleet Genius to Automate Ambulance Fleet Maintenance Scheduling and Fleet Vehicle Diagnostics Reporting

The system will be used to automate the collection and reporting of vehicle usage metrics that drive ambulance fleet maintenance system. MedStar has integrated Fleet Genius into the company’s vehicle fleet to provide a new level of automated reporting of vehicle usage metrics and engine diagnostics to reduce the time and expense of collecting that information manually for the 75 vehicles in MedStar’s fleet. The data will be used to automate vehicle maintenance scheduling for all vehicles and will support maintenance metrics including odometer and vehicle mileage, idle time tracking, running time monitoring and reporting of DTCs and MIL status (check engine light).

The Fleet Genius system works alongside existing GPS tracking systems to provide maintenance and diagnostic information not available from most AVL dispatch management tracking systems.
