Nexcess, a provider of performance-enhanced ExpressionEngine, Magento, and WordPress hosting, has announced its Platinum Sponsorship of this year's Pacific Northwest PHP Conference, on its inaugural gathering of PHP developers, community members, and companies in the US.

The Pacific Northwest PHP Conference 2015 takes place between September 10th-12th at Impact Hub Seattle.

PNWPHP is a three-day conference with events of interest to everyone in the PHP world. It brings together a wide range of speakers from the developer community and enterprise, with companies like Nexcess, Amazon, Facebook, Oracle, and Zend in attendance.

Nexcess Senior Software Engineer Robert Purcell will be present to deliver a talk entitled From Dev to Dev Manager, which will focus on the progression of developers into managerial positions and the unique challenges a developer faces when managing other developers.

"As a host of performance-optimized PHP applications, Nexcess has benefited enormously from the work of the PHP community. We're more than happy to have the opportunity to sponsor PNWPHP, which plays an essential part in maintaining the momentum and vibrancy of the community," commented Chris Wells, President and CEO of Nexcess, "We all benefit from the ideas and relationships that are fostered by events like Pacific Northwest PHP, and Nexcess will be in Seattle to meet other attendees and learn what we can from our peers in the PHP world."

PHP is key to Nexcess' ability to provide fast and reliable hosting solutions to publishers, businesses, and eCommerce merchants of all sizes. The applications Nexcess hosts are largely built in PHP, and the company develops a number of tools with PHP, including the Magento-Varnish integration extension Turpentine.
