Reporters Visiting Philadelphia for Historic Pope Francis Visit Now Eligible for Oct 11 - 14 Scholarship Opportunities to Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) August 20, 2015 -- What: Through intensive lectures and hands-on exercises, the Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists, led by the Wharton School’s most prominent professors, helps reporters gain a better understanding of key business and economic issues. Featured professors include Olivia Mitchell, Jeremy Siegel, Kent Smetters and Michael Useem; topics range from accounting and taxation to leadership, and the changing global business environment.
This year’s program, which follows the Pope’s visit to Philadelphia by less than two weeks, may provide a special opportunity for journalists to explore issues surrounding his visit—such as transportation challenges, economic impact, public policy, etc.--with Wharton faculty.
The Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists, now in its 47th year, offers participants an opportunity to expand their knowledge, increase their exposure to leading experts and broaden their perspectives in a stimulating setting.
