She is a state licensed co-owner of an academy, which she founded in 1985, with three programs, Infant Care Center, Preschool Center, and a Before and After School Center. She is co-owner of her church, where her husband is the pastor. She is a mother of five daughters, grandmother of thirteen, great-grandmother of eighteen, a foster mother of three, and a licensed state care specialist for fifteen developmentally disabled young men, whom she housed periodically for fifteen years. She is a Southern California State Licensed Evangelist
Missionary. She received her licensing under State Mother Lillian Morris Jurisdiction #1, of the Churches of God in Christ, in 1977, and she still has those licenses.
