Resource Corporation of America Brings Medicaid Eligibility to 14 Hospitals on Same Day
Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- Resource Corporation of America (RCA) is now delivering their Third-Party Medicaid Eligibility services to Ardent Health Services, which spans 14 hospitals in three states (New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.)
“RCA has been extremely responsive though this transition and we have felt very comfortable with the implementation of their services into our hospitals,” says Brian Walton, SVP, Financial Operations at Ardent Health Services, “We are looking forward to a long relationship with them.”
In April of this year, RCA was chosen as Ardent’s new vendor to provide on-site and bed-side Medicaid eligibility screening for its uninsured and underinsured hospital population. The Eligibility vendor has a proven track record of seamless integration among its current clients and though this new project came with its challenges, like hiring and recruiting for three states and expansion vs. non expansion state training, RCA went live with screening patients at all locations on the same date, just 60 days after the signed contract.
“Being able to start 14 hospitals on the same day wasn’t easy but it says a lot for how much we’ve grown over the last two decades.” says James Finklea, Executive Vice President at RCA, “being a valued resource to our partner often means a quick turn around on what they need.”
