The National Graduate School of Quality Management Partners with Women Veterans Interactive to Improve Access to Education
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) August 21, 2015 -- Women Veterans Interactive (WVI), an award-winning non-profit women veterans’ organization, has selected The National Graduate School of Quality Management (NGS) as an educational partner. The partnership will support and transform the lives of women veteran members throughout the United States by improving access to a bachelor’s degree completion program, master’s and doctorate degree programs.
Service members often have the desire and the need to return to school after leaving the military. This partnership makes that desire and need more affordable by offering all Women Veterans Interactive members a discounted tuition rate.
“As a Navy Veteran and recent graduate student with a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit and Association Management, I truly understand the value of a quality education,” Ginger Miller, Women Veterans Interactive, CEO and Founder. “I commend The National Graduate School for their efforts in ensuring that the women who have served and sacrificed for our country are given education at an affordable price.”
In addition to their discounted military tuition rate, The National Graduate School of Quality Management has created two scholarships through Women Veterans Interactive. The Ginger Baine Miller Legacy Scholarship, named after the Founder of WVI, will present the recipient with a $16,000 award towards the total tuition for their Master’s degree at NGS. The Woman Veteran Champion for Change Scholarship will award $7,000 to the recipient towards the total tuition for their Bachelor’s Degree Completion program at the school.
Dr. R. Clinton Miner, the President and CEO of the National Graduate School of Quality Management said, “NGS has a long history of supporting the women and men of our armed forces and we are proud to join WVI. As a veteran of over 20 years myself, I know the challenges military personnel have in transitioning to civilian life. I am proud to lead an organization which has such a strong commitment to those who sacrifice so much to protect our freedoms. NGS is a Military Friendly College - not only in name - it is part of our culture and value system. We owe our support to our veterans and their families.”
