Blue Water, a digital agency located in Greenbelt, Maryland, is pleased to announce the third of no-cost “BOOTCAMP-On the road to you, 2.0” educational seminars for Service Members, Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Military Spouses, Military Retirees, and Military Dependents.
The third BOOTCAMP seminar, “Photoshop Basic”, will be held on September 16, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00 p.m. at Blue Water Headquarters. Attendees will learn editing skills; quick selection across tools; how to organize files using layers and folders; saving PSD files and images; and hot keys and shortcuts for the best solutions.
Blue Water acknowledges the richness of digital natives in the next generation and extends BOOTCAMP’s enrollment opportunities to high school and college students who are military dependents. Military dependents that are over sixteen and enrolled in high school or college are welcome to attend. Parents are required to attend with minors, and all registrants must hold a non-expired military ID to enroll in the seminar.
Individuals unable to attend due to geographical location can participate in the simultaneous webinar. Directions for online participation are on the registration website.
Jen Koscielniak, Blue Water’s Senior Art Director, will be leading the seminar. She is a designer with over a decade of experience who is committed to making the web – and world – a more beautiful place. She has led visual strategy for the Martha Stewart company, the American Lung Association, and Marriott, as well as Blue Water’s own website. Her eye for design attracts happy clients and design awards like moths to a flame.
BOOTCAMP seminars are free of charge to Service Members, Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Military Spouses, Military Dependents, and Military Retirees of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard. Proof of military status will be required for admittance into BOOTCAMP seminars. Eligible participants can register at http://www.bwm.com/bootcamp/
