Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute – Cambridge and CLAC Offers Carpentry Program Scholarship
(PRWEB) August 26, 2015 -- Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute (PAT) – Cambridge is pleased to announce a special scholarship, in partnership with the CLAC, for students interested in our Carpentry program. PAT is an industry recognized training facility for Preapprenticeships working with CLAC and other industry partners.
“There is demand in the marketplace for Carpenters and we would like to extend the offer of a scholarship and voucher to assist students interested in this trade, “says PAT President, Emidio D’Alfonso.
Students interested in enrolling in the Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship program may be eligible for a PAT Institute – CLAC Pre-Apprenticeship Carpentry Training Scholarship. Qualified students will receive a scholarship in the amount of $5,000, which is equal to a 70% reduction in tuition.
Carpenters construct, erect, install, maintain and repair structures and components of structures made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Graduates find employment with construction companies, carpentry contractors, and maintenance departments of factories, plants and other establishments, or they may be self-employed.
