Dialogic Selects Bill Crank as New CEO

Sales and Services Leader to Head Company

Dialogic, a global networking software and infrastructure solution provider, announced today its board of directors has selected Bill Crank to be the next President and Chief Executive Officer.

“Bill has earned the role based on his passion and understanding of the business, success as a sales leader, and his history in executive roles, including running companies, in the markets that Dialogic plays in today. Getting to work with him first hand since we invested in Dialogic gave us the opportunity and comfort to have an internal candidate who already knows this business, the company goals, the strategy, and the people, to become CEO. Bill’s appointment will ensure that Dialogic does not miss a step in executing according to the company’s strategic plan,” said Stéphane Tremblay, Chairman of the Dialogic Board of Directors, and Senior Partner at Novacap.

Bill Crank has been with Dialogic since late 2012 and served in the role of SVP of Worldwide Field Operations, responsible for sales, channels, business development, services, and global strategy. His team has consistently exceeded sales and services goals over that period.

Prior to Dialogic, Bill was Vice President of Sales & Business Development for Ubiquity Software, where he provided the sales leadership and partner strategy to help bring the company to an IPO, and eventual acquisition by Avaya. After Ubiquity, Bill became President of NCI, where he drove a significant strategy change that led to an eventual acquisition. He has also held executive management roles as President of Wireless Systems Consulting (acquired by BCI), Executive Vice President of CI Wireless (acquired by EMS Wireless), Vice President Sales & Marketing of Ortel - Wireless Systems Division (acquired by Lucent), and senior leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Allen Telecom Group and Motorola where he started his career. Bill has a BBA in Marketing from Western Connecticut State University and an Engineering background from Motorola’s Fast Leadership Track Program.
