Princeville, HI (PRWEB) August 24, 2015
Elite Pacific Properties, a top volume luxury brokerage and vacation rental firm with offices on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island, has announced the addition of Donna Rice, R(B), Vice President for the Kauai Board of Realtors, to its team. She was the President of the Kauai Board in 2013 and past Chair of the Education Committee for the Hawaii Board of Realtors. She continues to teach courses to this day. With 17 years of experience in real estate, Donna is the former Broker in Charge for Century 21 where she ran multiple Century 21 offices and earned 17 awards for production and 16 awards for quality. Her Princeville Century 21 office was often the highest producing Century 21 office in Hawaii under her tenure.
“A move to Elite Pacific Properties made perfect sense to me,” she said. “I love what they do for their agents: the marketing; the legal transaction reviewers; the executive group; the seamlessly smooth transactions for clients; and, of course, the forward thinking mindset. Elite Pacific Properties is recognized as one of the Top 25 Fastest Growing companies in Hawaii. To me, that is exciting. I want to be a part of that growth and help take it to the next level. Elite provides not only an impressive support team, but also a refreshing and progressive way of doing business.”
“Elite is very particular about who we invite to join our company,” said Elite Pacific Properties’ Managing Partner Paul Mayer. “Donna is exactly the type of person who fits with our team. She has a proven track record of excellence in luxury sales. She understands the market and has an excellent reputation. She has a vast network of clients who trust her. I look forward to working with her.”
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Donna has both business and medical backgrounds. As a nurse, she worked at the Medical College of Virginia alongside a vascular surgeon whose research led to the development of ultrasound as we know it today. During this time, she traveled extensively, presenting talks and gathering research data. In 1983, she joined MedaSonics, an ultrasound company, as a Clinical Advisor. There, she worked with physicians and researchers in the field and traveled all over the world. She made a move into the sales of vascular equipment, and worked her way up to become the North America Sales manager overseeing the US, Canada and Mexico market with a team of sales agents. Throughout this time, she continued to lecture and train physicians in Europe, China, and South America.
In 1998, Donna and her husband vacationed on Kauai and fell in love with the island. They bought a home and she planned to retire there. Her realtor persuaded her to try her hand in the real estate business and she has been excelling in that area ever since. Her distinctions include the following: Centurion Honor Society member, “the elite of the elite”; Resort & Second home Property Specialist (RSPS); Council of Residential Specialists (CRS); Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB); Short Sale, Foreclosure, and REO (Real estate owned by bank) Certified (SFR); Fine Homes & Estates Certified; Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI); 17-time Top Producer Award winner; and 16-time Quality Service Award Winner (first ever in Hawaii to win nine plus awards).
She is also active with Habitat for Humanity and the Zonita Club International which works to encourage and provide opportunities for women to succeed.
