Fusion Recovery’s Adult Intensive Outpatient Program Opens in Silicon Valley
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- Fusion Recovery, Inc., an innovative provider of outpatient alcohol and drug treatment services in San Jose, California, opens a new intensive outpatient addiction treatment program for adults age 18 and over. Fusion’s evidence based program allows clients to continue to work or attend school while addressing substance abuse issues and includes intensive family and spousal support.
“At Fusion Recovery, we don’t believe in the one-size-fits-all approach to treating substance abuse problems. Each client is thoroughly assessed before they begin treatment, and a customized treatment plan specifically designed for that individual using cutting-edge, evidence based approaches to address their specific needs is implemented. People actually look forward to coming to treatment at Fusion Recovery.” says Michael O’Brien, RAS, FAC, CSC, Co-Founder of Fusion Recovery, Inc.
Fusion Recovery helps clients to get to the cause of what is driving their substance abuse, overcome it, and thrive. Clients develop strong therapeutic relationships grounded in truth, respect, balance and acceptance and are provided with a safe space to work through their difficulties and discover their strengths and potential. Treatment at Fusion Recovery doesn’t just stop with the client, it offers the most comprehensive programs available for family members and spouses.
“Many addiction treatment programs offer families an educational session or family group in which they get little time to talk, but at Fusion we’ve developed a comprehensive program for families and spouses. The families and spouses of our clients are our clients as well, and those willing to participate can attend their own groups and individual sessions throughout their loved ones entire time in treatment. Addiction is a family disease, when we address what is going on in the family, we help to reduce triggers and stressors, avoid relapses and help the family get back to a life that isn’t centered around their loved one’s addiction.” says Therese Frey, MA, LMFT, and Co-Founder of Fusion Recovery, Inc.
The adult intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment program is located in San Jose, California. It meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and additional individualized services are provided throughout the week. Fusion Recovery provides medical and psychiatric services to those who may need outpatient detoxification services or have a dual-diagnosis condition.
Highlights of the individualized program include:
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists
Certified Addiction Specialists
Outpatient Detoxification Services
Psychiatric & Medical Evaluation and Treatment
Neurotransmitter and PharmaCoGenetic Testing
Individual Counseling and Motivational Interviewing
Group Counseling, Education and Relapse Prevention
Individual & Group Family Counseling, Education and Support
Mindfulness Training, Acupuncture, and Massage
Neuro and/or Bio Feedback including comprehensive EEG
Optional Appropriate Medication and Supplements
Optional Outside Social Support Groups (AA, NA, Smart Recovery, Women For Sobriety)
Random Drug Testing
“What we know from current research is that residential treatment is often the least effective way to overcome substance abuse problems. Dealing with life’s day-to-day difficulties, an individualized treatment plan that focuses on one-to-one support, appropriate medication, if needed, and adequate social support provide the highest success rates.” says Michael O’Brien, RAS, FAC, CSC, Co-Founder of Fusion Recovery, Inc. Fusion Recovery strives to integrate these approaches with evidence based techniques and treatments for every client. Many clients have been referred to Fusion Recovery through a mental health professional in private practice.
“If a client has been working with a mental health professional whom they trust and have developed a strong therapeutic relationship, we’ve found that collaborating with that professional to enhance the clients treatment experience provides an improved spectrum of care and a better outcome for the client. Clinicians in private practice are treated as partners at Fusion Recovery which provides regular open houses to educate clinicians on the services provided.” says Therese Frey, MA, LMFT, and Co-Founder of Fusion Recovery, Inc.
