Zenith American Solutions and the U.S. Department of Labor Reach Settlement
Tampa, Fa. (PRWEB) August 25, 2015 -- Zenith American Solutions® (Zenith) has reached an amicable resolution to litigation* involving the U.S. Department of Labor, Thomas E. Perez, Secretary of Labor, U.S. Department of Labor v Zenith American Solutions, et. al., pending in the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of California.
The lawsuit was filed in May 2014 and involved allegations of violations of Section 510 of ERISA, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. The settlement includes a monetary component, as well as training and other commitments to comply with ERISA. The litigation will continue with respect to two of the individually-named defendants.
