K9 Partners for Patriots, Inc. Wins Grant Award
Brooksville, Florida (PRWEB) August 27, 2015 -- K9 Partners for Patriots has received a grant from The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, allowing continued help for veterans diagnosed with service related PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and/or TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) through service dog training. This grant is just one more example of The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation's commitment to U.S. military veterans, their families and the local communities they serve.
With this grant, K9 Partners for Patriots, Inc. is further assured that the safe areas for service dogs to play and relax when they are not on duty and the picnic area which provides veterans with a place to meet and socialize with other veterans going through the program, will be maintained on an ongoing basis.
