Giving veterans a second chance at life.
Brooksville, Florida (PRWEB) August 27, 2015
K9 Partners for Patriots has received a grant from The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, allowing continued help for veterans diagnosed with service related PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and/or TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) through service dog training. This grant is just one more example of The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation's commitment to U.S. military veterans, their families and the local communities they serve.
With this grant, K9 Partners for Patriots, Inc. is further assured that the safe areas for service dogs to play and relax when they are not on duty and the picnic area which provides veterans with a place to meet and socialize with other veterans going through the program, will be maintained on an ongoing basis. Mary Peter - Founder, K9 Partners for Patriots, Inc. stated that "community supporters are grateful to this organization and the generosity shown to our nation's heroes and our local community. We are truly grateful for what we have received."
