CipherLab Releases CipherWeb Text-Based Browser on 8600 Series Mobile computer
Plano, TX (PRWEB) August 26, 2015 -- CipherLab, a leading innovator in Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) for the retail, warehouse and distribution markets, has released a software update to run web-based applications on CipheLab 8600 mobile computer. Any data entry in web-based applications either on a PC or on CipherLab 8600 mobile computer can be easily synchronized and updated on real-time basis via WiFi connection with CipherWeb settings.
The CipherWeb is a web browser client loaded to the CipherLab 8600 series mobile computer allowing users to access the Internet/Intranet via Wi-Fi connections. The CipherWeb package consists of two parts – one is the configuration utility running on your PC, and the other is the runtime program loaded to the CipherLab 8600 series mobile computer.
The configuration utility features a windows-based interface through which users are allowed to configure setting for CipherWeb including readers, networking, and hardware. As for the web client (runtime program), it is capable of handling negotiations between the mobile computer and the web server, and interprets the content of the web page. “CipherWeb is a text-based browser, along with functions of LockDown browser and hot key setting, can elevate your workforce productivity and efficiency at work,” Vice President and General Manager of CipherLab USA, Luis Wu stated.
