Belgian Restaurant Franchise Offers Trip to Belgium as Reward

Bruges Waffles & Frites restaurant franchise division announced today that the person who refers the first franchise owner in Washington will receive a bounty of a trip for two to Bruges, Belgium. Building upon the success of the current three Utah locations, the restaurant franchise is expanding this year into markets in Washington, and other western states.

“Our unique approach to franchising in the beginning of our expansion process is a way to involve all of our loyal fans who have brought us where we are today,” stated Belgian native and Bruges co-founder, Pierre Vandamme. “Is there a better way to reward our loyal customers than with a trip to Bruges where our story began? We could not think of one.”

Bruges waffles & Frites began in 2002 when Belgian natives Pierre Vandamme and Phillipe Wyffels met in Salt Lake City, Utah and began to reminisce about the old world cuisine they had experienced during childhood. The two set out to recreate the authentic flavors of the Liège waffle and once they had achieved success, began to share it at the local farmers market. From that first waffle cart began the waffle movement of Salt Lake City. Raving reviews began appearing on social sites, and the small company received national media attention as well. This led to the opening of a restaurant location in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, followed by three more Utah restaurant locations. To continue building on the success of the Utah locations, Bruges is expanding into other western states.

To qualify to win the trip, interested individuals can visit Brugesfranchising.com/trip and submit the contact info of others who may be interested in the franchise opportunity. Once the first Washington restaurant franchise is awarded, the referring individual will receive a travel voucher redeemable for a trip for two to Bruges. The value of the voucher is based on four nights in Bruges, two nights in Brussels, and airfare, rail and tour fees. For more information, visit Brugesfranchising.com/trip.
