GuideOne Foundation Announces New MyCause Awards Program to Honor Unsung Heroes; Seeks Nominations
West Des Moines, Iowa (PRWEB) August 28, 2015 -- The GuideOne Foundation is pleased to announce today the launch of the MyCause Awards program in Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Oregon. This program seeks to recognize and honor unsung heroes who have done something tremendous to better the lives of others in their community. In conjunction with GuideOne Insurance’s MyCause Auto endorsement, this program aims to distinguish individuals who go above and beyond to give back and make a difference in the lives of others. The details of the program are as follows:
• Individuals must be nominated for this award. (Nominations can come from anyone whether they are affiliated with GuideOne Insurance or not).
• All nominations will be reviewed by a Selection Committee and narrowed down to five finalists.
• The finalists and their stories will be posted on GuideOne.com and an online voting campaign will begin.
• Based on the results of the online voting, one winner will be designated in each eligible state. This person will receive a $5,000 donation from the GuideOne Foundation in their name to the charity of their choice.

The deadline to nominate someone for the MyCause Awards is Oct. 15, 2015. Nominations are currently only being accepted in Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio and Oregon.
