AIS Duals Database: August Update Finds Two New Duals Programs in Rhode Island and Idaho
Washington, DC (PRWEB) August 28, 2015 -- Researchers for Atlantic Information Services, Inc.’s (AIS) Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database have added comprehensive information on two new duals programs: Rhode Island Integrated Care Initiative, the newest CMS-backed alignment demonstration approved for a December 2015 launch; and Idaho’s partnership to revamp Blue Cross of Idaho’s D-SNP. The database also now has full enrollment information available for Colorado’s Accountable Care Collaborative. 26,813 duals are served by the state’s CMS-backed demo.
Editors have also found that total enrollment in California’s duals demo program is down 1.46%, but enrollment is still growing in the Texas (up 25.58%) and Michigan (up 26.55%) demos. The database now counts 2,398,070 enrollees in all plans serving dual-eligible populations — 590 plans in 22 different programs.
More than just a convenient, current and comprehensive online database, the Medicare-Medicaid Dual Eligibles Database boasts original news coverage by experienced AIS reporters, including an exclusive interview with CalOptima on overcoming federal restrictions and building a better duals plan, and articles on how Anthem’s planned Cigna buy will impact the duals market and why some duals insurers are attributing slow demo growth to physician resistance.
