Today, food and nutrition communications and consulting company FoodMinds, LLC announced the opening of its third office, located in San Francisco. FoodMinds’ team of food and nutrition affairs experts is recognized for providing strategic counsel and insights that help food industry, trade association, and commodity board clients navigate the rapidly-changing worlds of nutrition and public health. The firm harnesses science, policy, and communications to help its clients tell a better story.

The new office will be led by FoodMinds partner and co-founder Laura Cubillos, RD, who is returning to San Francisco where she previously worked in food and beverage public relations for nearly a decade.

“FoodMinds’ physical presence on the West Coast places us in the heart of where trends and innovations in food, nutrition, tech and sustainability are starting and converging,” said Cubillos. “Housing a FoodMinds team here will strengthen our expertise and access to experts in these areas, and I envision this office will become an incubator for cutting-edge ideas and services that benefit all of our clients.”

Clients served by FoodMinds’ San Francisco office include the Almond Board of California, Hass Avocado Board and Nestlé USA.

FoodMinds also has offices in Chicago and Washington, DC. The firm recently announced expanded capabilities in Issues & Crisis Navigation as well as growth in its international footprint.
