Stanardvsille, Virginia (PRWEB) August 31, 2015 -- The International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), the premier international, networking and professional growth organization for women in the restructuring and insolvency industries, is pleased to announce the 2015 finalists for its 5th Annual “Rising Star” Award. The five finalists are:
Camille Bent – Camille is a bankruptcy attorney with Stevens & Lee, P. C. in New York City and is a member of the IWIRC New York Network. She currently serves as Communication Chair of the New York Network.
Jodi Daniel Cooke – Jodi is a bankruptcy attorney with the law firm of Stichter Riedel Blain & Postler, PA in Pensacola, Florida and is a member of the IWIRC Florida and Alabama Networks. Jodi currently serves as the Co-Programming Chair for the Florida Network and is actively involved with the IWIRC Programming Committee.
Emily Ladky –Emily is a bankruptcy attorney with Hahn Loeser & Parks in Cleveland, Ohio and is a member of the IWIRC Northeast Ohio (NEON) Network. She currently serves as Secretary of the NEON Network and is actively involved with the IWIRC Programming Committee.
Catherine Read–Catherine is a bankruptcy attorney with Walkers in Hong Kong and is a member of the IWIRC Hong Kong Network. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Hong Kong Network.
Gillian Scarlett– Gillian is a bankruptcy attorney with Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is a member of the IWIRC Western Canada Network. She currently serves on the Program Committee of the Western Canada Network.
The IWIRC Rising Star Award is bestowed upon an IWIRC member with 8 or less years of experience in her respective field; who has made considerable contributions to her professional success and displayed a high-level of commitment to advancing IWIRC’s mission—enhancing the professional status of women in the insolvency and restructuring profession—at the local, national and/or international levels.
The talented group of finalists were chosen from a group of 11 nominees from IWIRC networks around the world that include attorneys, bankers, turnaround advisors, claims & noticing agents and other restructuring industry consultants & professionals who are actively engaged in the restructuring industry.
