Angelika Hunnefeld, shareholder in the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak on a panel at the 2015 Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Annual Convention, to be held Sept. 2-5, in Boston. Hunnefeld will be speaking at the workshop titled “Foreign Corrupt Practices Act: Where is Enforcement Heading and Where Has It Been” on Friday, Sept. 4.
The HNBA, a nonprofit, non-partisan, national membership organization that represents the interests of Hispanic legal professionals in the United States and its territories, is committed to advancing issues of importance to the 53 million people of Hispanic heritage living in the U.S. through advocacy, education, professional development, and innovative programming, among other means. Hunnefeld focuses her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, international business arbitration, and compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). She is experienced in matters involving multi-jurisdictional issues, international dispute resolution, and enforcement of foreign judgments and foreign arbitral awards. She also assists clients with matters relating to issues arising under the anti-bribery and record-keeping provisions of the FCPA. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French and Portuguese.
