Impartus Expands Leadership Team, Adding Sandeep Aji as Co-Founder and Head of Products

Aji will be joining the company as Co-Founder and Head of Products, and will open a new office for Impartus in the San Francisco Bay Area to focus on R&D and business development in North America as the company accelerates against Echo360, Panopto, and other international competitors.
With nearly 25 years of experience in managing product and business development for imaging and software companies, Aji’s addition will accelerate Impartus’ product strategy and enhance the pace of adoption in higher education organizations around the world. At the company’s new office in San Francisco, CA, Aji will lead R&D and North American business development, building upon Impartus’ current video-based learning product suite to create an industry-leading cloud-based, contextually relevant platform for higher education.

Before joining Impartus, Aji served as Director of Marketing and Engineering at Intersil, where he oversaw the development of products for mobile and consumer market. Prior to that, he held Director and Senior Management positions at Aptina, inSilica, and Sun Microsystems. Aji holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Pune and has done graduate research at University of Cincinnati in Distributed computing. He also holds a number of original patents in the industry.
