We are humbled simply by the nomination.

MarketSource, Inc., an Atlanta-based Field Sales and Marketing company in Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Fitness Wearables, and Home Improvement, is recognized for its dynamic culture of inclusion. The subsidiary of Allegis Group is an honored recipient of the Technology Association of Georgia’s TAG Diversity Award for 2015.

The award, presented to MarketSource and five other hardworking corporations in Georgia’s business community this week, is given annually to recognize corporate demonstration of purpose, intent, and success with efforts to advance workplace diversity and inclusion.

TAG is a membership organization dedicated to economic development in Georgia. In choosing recipients of this year’s award, TAG vetted over 3000 organizations for their successes in improving “employee morale, community stakeholder relationships, revenues, profitability and/or operating efficiencies.”

The organization directs the award to companies “integrating diversity and inclusion strategies into business practices which have evolved from being ‘the right thing to do,’ to becoming a necessary way to remain competitive in an increasingly global marketplace.” MarketSource stands out as a company that hires thousands of skilled full-time and part-time employees across the U.S. for outsourced retail jobs in multiple industries.

At the awards event in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, MarketSource’s Diversity and Inclusion manager Erin Mitchell Richeson accepted the honor on behalf of MarketSource. Noting that the award commends each organization for its inclusion of diverse sets of thoughts, perspectives and experiences, she added, “We have long been a company that embodies the fundamental qualities of an inclusive organization, but have only recently formalized our company initiatives to help drive greater awareness and integration. We are humbled simply by the nomination.”

MarketSource also won a spot on the AJC Top workplaces 2015 list earlier this year.
