President and CEO Kevin Maggiacomo

Commercial Property Executive, a leading resource for commercial real estate, has nominated SVNIC President and CEO Kevin Maggiacomo for the Service Executive of the Year award. This award, part of the CPE Executive of the Year awards, recognizes its nominees for their “expansion, innovation and deal prowess in serving clients in the past year.”

“I am very humbled to be a nominee for the Service Executive of the Year surrounded by such talented peers,” says Maggiacomo. “At SVNIC we continually strive to push our CRE thought-leadership forward to strengthen not only our platform but the industry as a whole.”

Chief Operating Officer Diane Danielson

Real Estate Forum magazine has named SVNIC Chief Operating Officer Diane Danielson among its national list of 2015 Women of Influence in the commercial real estate industry. Danielson was chosen from a pool of over 350 nominees and made the list of dynamic female professionals based on her history of promoting gender equality and emerging technologies in the CRE industry.

“I’m honored to be included among this list of smart and talented women,” says Danielson. “One of our goals at SVNIC is to diversify the commercial real estate industry and it’s important that the media follow Real Estate Forum’s example and promote gender-balanced leadership in print and online because that’s how you change culture.”

Executive Vice President of Organizational Development Solomon Poretsky

SVNIC recently promoted Solomon Poretsky to Executive Vice President of Organizational Development. Formerly the Vice President of Organizational Development, he is responsible for the development and delivery of commercial real estate training, strategic planning and consulting for both SVNIC and its affiliates. Poretsky is also a member of the executive team that is responsible for the overall growth of the Sperry Van Ness® brand.

“Solomon has delivered an industry leading edge online and in person training system for Advisors and Managing Directors that is an essential part of our recent national and international growth and recognition,” says SVNIC President and CEO Kevin Maggiacomo. “He is also a key member of our executive management team that sets the course for strategic growth of the brand.”

SVNIC is the only commercial real estate firm that markets all of its properties nationally to the entire 100,000-member brokerage and investment community. Producing $9 billion in sales and leasing transactions in 2014, SVNIC shared commission fees with co-operating brokers in approximately 80 percent of those transactions. Working with its own competitors to bring the highest bidder to the table allows SVN Advisors to see gains from closing more deals in less time. Advisors also reap the benefits of the SVNIC cloud-based enterprise system that enables easy, on-the-go access to property listings and client contacts; real-time data sharing; and software that allows for the assembly of professional proposals and marketing materials.
