Cooksongold improves delivery service in time for busy Christmas period

From 10th September 2015, Cooksongold will be offering customers the ability to order right up to 5pm for same day despatch, and next day delivery.
In 2014 Cooksongold despatched a record 300,000 parcels and 1.2 million items, and the company is on course to beat this by 25% in 2015. In response to increased demand for its products, Cooksongold’s expanded window for same day despatch will provide its customers with the best delivery offering in the jewellery trade.
The later time for placing orders up to 5pm will enable customers to order supplies later in the day, as and when their business dictates, and still get same day despatch and next day delivery.
To enable Cooksongold to offer the 5pm service it has just launched a new high tech logistics operation. Utilising the latest technology to make picking items for delivery faster, more efficient, and accurate. The new logistics operation comprises of a brand new logistics area which caters for an expanded range of over 17,000 products. The increased operation has resulted in the creation of new jobs in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
