"Age is the most important factor for fertility, and it's incredibly important for women to understand their options. Events like these are a great way to get information in a casual environment," said Kristen Wright, MD, IVF New England's lead New Hampshire fertility expert.
"Women are born with over 2 million eggs at birth, and the number declines sharply over time. At age 30, a woman possesses roughly 100,000 eggs and by the time she reaches menopause at age 45, the number of viable eggs is close to zero", she continued.
Dr. Wright sees new patients at New Hampshire fertility locations in Bedford and Portsmouth. In 2015, for the third consecutive year, she was voted the Top New Hampshire Fertility Expert by New Hampshire Magazine.
