Fox Valley Entrepreneurship Center Touts Another Success Story with Local Brewery
Aurora, Illinois (PRWEB) September 03, 2015 -- The Fox Valley Entrepreneurship Center (FVEC) is proud to announce the success of their relationship with Brewers Emporium. The brewery is planning on a location in the western suburbs of Chicago.
Rachel Kingsley and her husband, Andrew, knew they were ready to start a brewery, so they built a plan. During this process, they turned to Sybil Ege at the Illinois Small Business Development Center (ILSBDC) at Elgin Community College for help. From Sybil they learned of the FVEC. They pitched their concept to the FVEC and were chosen to receive assistance. Since then, the original plan has changed to reflect what will make their brewery special.
“Andy Parker, an experienced FVEC Business Consultant, worked closely with us,” states Rachel Kingsley. “He ensured that our business plan was polished and ready to go. Now we are obtaining investment capital for our start up brewing business.”
“The Kingsleys are a pleasure to work with. They are driven by their passion for their business and desire to succeed,” says Austin Dempsey, President of the FVEC. “They have a clear direction they are moving in and are uniquely positioning themselves in the market.”
The FVEC works with business owners and entrepreneurs at every stage, from those who have a business concept to people who have been in business for decades. The FVEC’s goal is to make the community a stronger and more vibrant place for everyone.
About FVEC
The Fox Valley Entrepreneurship Center (FVEC) began in 2010 as a collaboration between several local entrepreneurs and supporting organizations. The mission of the FVEC is to provide critical support to companies to help them create jobs, expand their business and grow revenue. Further, they foster an environment in which businesses strive for excellence and where innovation is nourished. This is accomplished through training and advising the business owner, providing strategic introductions and engaging in strategic/growth planning across all areas of a business. As a non-profit, the center supports these programs through private donations and grants. To learn more about the FVEC, visit their website at http://www.fvec.org.
