Andrews Federal Credit Union Schedules Renovations for Chievres Branch
(PRWEB) September 03, 2015 -- Andrews Federal Credit Union will open a temporary satellite branch on Chievres Air Base while the on-base branch is temporarily closed for renovations from September 18 – 28. A grand reopening ceremony will be held October 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
The Chievres Branch ATM will be open during most of the renovation period; with the exception of September 21 – 23. During this time, the ATM in the SHAPE Post Office will be available for patron use.
To minimize the impact of the main branch closure, Andrews Federal Credit Union will manage a small operation on a limited schedule in the concessionaire storefront (old tax office) in the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, or AAFES, food court on September 19 and from September 22 – 26; 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
"We're doing these renovations to further enhance the member experience in the Chievres/SHAPE community," said Josh Barrett, Chievres branch manager. "Some of the highlights include additional privacy for our members, both on the teller line and on the new account/loan side."
