CREW Charlotte Encourages Charlotte to Go Pink
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) September 05, 2015 -- Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Charlotte will be hosting its 7th Annual Queen City in Pink (QCIP) campaign, which encourages local businesses to turn their buildings and surroundings pink. CREW Charlotte conducts the campaign in conjunction with the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s® Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and this year they are asking participants to display pink during the entire month of October. These efforts are designed to show support for the community’s survivors of breast cancer and honor those who have been affected by or lost their lives to the disease.
CREW Charlotte’s QCIP initiative asks the owners and tenants of Charlotte properties to illuminate their buildings with pink lighting, temporarily turn fountains pink with dye or lighting, or decorate with other displays of pink including ribbons, banners and flags.
“By turning our city pink, we are showing support for those impacted by this disease” says Jennifer Yoxtheimer, CREW Charlotte’s President. “We hope our local community will join us in this effort again this year.”
There are multiple ways businesses can participate. For more information on how your business can help support Queen City in Pink, please visit http://www.crewcharlotte.org/queen-city-in-pink.
