APT Named a Finalist in the SmartCEO Cornerstone Awards
Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) September 04, 2015 -- Applied Predictive Technologies (APT) today announced that the company has been named a finalist in the SmartCEO Cornerstone Awards. The Arlington-based predictive analytics company currently serves clients in over a dozen industries in more than 25 countries around the world, delivering cloud-based software to help enable data-driven decision-making. The Cornerstone Awards program honors businesses headquartered in the communities surrounding the Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, DC metro markets. Companies are judged based on their positive impact on job creation and retention, market competition, and philanthropy.
APT was recognized for its various contributions to Arlington, including its philanthropic endeavors, local client and vendor relationships, and contributions to the county’s economy. For instance, over the past couple of years, APT has hosted a series of “data dives” and partnered with local organizations to conduct a series of high-value analyses. Recent Data Dive partners include the Capital Area Food Bank and Apple Tree Institute. In addition, APT recently formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit ‘APT Charities,’ which provides funding directly to local organizations that have a demonstrated need and specific goals, including those that engage in or could benefit from data-driven solutions.
Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, President of SmartCEO Events, stated, “It’s no secret that Greater Washington is home to some of the region’s most impactful companies. Moreover, they have become part of the fabric of the communities in which they reside. These companies are economic drivers, innovators and exemplary community stewards — they are true cornerstones of their communities. For that, we honor them.”
APT CEO Anthony Bruce commented, “We are honored to receive this award.”
