The team at Bluxome Street Winery is dedicated to serving great wine while celebrating the rich and colorful history of San Francisco, which made opening our second location in Ghirardelli Square’s historic Woolen building an obvious choice.

Jamestown, L.P., a leading national real estate investment firm and the owner and operator of Ghirardelli Square, announced today Bluxome Street Winery – the first working winery to return to San Francisco’s SOMA district in 100 years – will be opening its second tasting room location at the Square in fall 2015. Joining Ghirardelli Square’s existing mix of retailers and restaurants, Bluxome Street Winery will serve locals and visitors its well-balanced, food friendly wines.

Bluxome Street Winery Winemaker Webster Marquez sources fruit from small, meticulously farmed vineyards located in the mostly cool climates of Sonoma and the Russian River Valley to craft his Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc at the winery at 53 Bluxome Street. The tasting room harkens back to a time when artists, legislators and laborers alike sat shoulder to shoulder at the “local.”
