Tony Roma’s to Open Six New Restaurants in Mexico

Mexico has already proven to be a successful market for the Tony Roma’s brand, and this new development agreement will further extend our reach with restaurants in new Mexican states.

Romacorp Inc., the parent company of Tony Roma’s and TR Fire Grill, announces the expansion of its international presence with an additional six new restaurants for Mexico. The new locations, owned by Grupo Gastronomico Tresa, S.A. de C.V., are planned for Cancun, Veracruz, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Puebla, as well as cities in Estado de Mexico.

Earlier this year Romacorp announced a similar development agreement for five new restaurants in the Yucatan Peninsula and Mexico City. There are currently five Tony Roma’s restaurants in Mexico, located in Merida, San Luis Potosi, Torreon, Queretaro and the Polanco area of Mexico City. The new development agreement will result in a total of 17 Mexican locations for Tony Roma’s, bringing the brand to new markets in Mexico.
