Sport Safety International Partners with Human Kinetics to Offer Online Courses on Concussion, Heat Illness, and Cardiac Arrest
Wayne, NJ (PRWEB) September 08, 2015 -- Sport Safety International (SSI) and Human Kinetics, leading providers of coach education to scholastic coaches, have partnered to offer online training and certification in recognizing and treating concussion, heat illness, and sudden cardiac arrest.
The joint mission of the partnership is to promote injury prevention and safe participation in physical activity and sports by providing the highest quality educational programming to coaches, athletes, parents, and sports medicine professionals.

Each course is specifically crafted for coaches to prevent and manage the occurrence of the conditions they address. ConcussionWise is continuously updated to meet the guidelines for concussion education in all 50 states.
The three courses complement Human Kinetics’ current courses for scholastic coaches, Coaching Principles, Sport First Aid, and Coaching Orientation, which are accredited through the National Council of Coaching Education (NCACE).
After completing a course, coaches can print a course completion certificate and access and email complete course transcripts from the Human Kinetics Coach Education Center website.
