Phil & Co., a leading full-service New York City marketing and communications agency, is proud to announce it was selected by the United Nations Foundation to develop an integrated global launch strategy for "Love Song to the Earth", a song written and performed by some of the world’s most renowned recording artists. The song aims to elevate global awareness, attract new audiences and inspire action on the issue of climate change in advance of the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21) that begins on November 30.
Phil & Co. created an integrated campaign and launch strategy across social media, public relations, advertising, a unique website, video content and marketing events.

"Love Song to the Earth" features performances by Paul McCartney, Jon Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Fergie, Colbie Caillat, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, Sean Paul, Johnny Rzeznik, Krewella, Angelique Kidjo (a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador), Kelsea Ballerini, Nicole Scherzinger, Christina Grimmie, Victoria Justice, and Q’Orianka Kilcher.

Apple, as well as the artists, producers and directors working on the "Love Song" project are donating all proceeds to Friends of the Earth and the United Nation Foundation. On September 11, the song will be released on all major music distribution and streaming services worldwide.

In December 2015, world leaders will assemble in Paris for COP21 in an effort to sign a meaningful, universal global agreement on climate change. The song’s producers hope that "Love Song to the Earth" will bring the issue to new audiences and inspire them to contact their leaders to demand climate action. The artists will be asking their fans to “Share the Love Song” and “Take Climate Action Now” by signing a petition that will be delivered to world leaders at the beginning of the climate conference.
