Over 1 Million in Grants Issued to Residents of RM of Pipestone

The R.M. of Pipestone Council announced today that for a fith year in a row a $500 grant that will be given per dwelling or family unit, to either ratepayers or tenants, who have maintained residency in the R.M. of Pipestone from October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015.

$500 Grant Applications will be posted at the end of September!

Since 2011 the R.M. Council has invested over 1 million dollars back into the hands of residents through this program.

The R.M. of Pipestone Council announced today that for a fith year in a row a $500 grant that will be given per dwelling or family unit, to either ratepayers or tenants, who have maintained residency in the R.M. of Pipestone from October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015. Since 2011 the R.M. Council has invested over 1 million dollars back into the hands of residents through this program.

To apply, one grant application form per dwelling or family unit must be completed by November 16, 2015. Proof of residency is required from the property owner of the residence by submitting utility bills or other evidence stating proof of residency or a signed “Statement of Residency” from the registered property owner if the resident is not the property owner of the residence. To be eligible for this grant, current year’s taxes and debts to the R.M. of Pipestone must be paid.

Property owners can expect an grant application form in their post office box by mid-October or a form can be found online at http://www.rmofpipestone.com after October 1st. The R.M. of Pipestone Council is advising property owners to contact their tenant/s to inform them of this program as notices are only being mailed to property owners and past year tenant recipients in the R.M. of Pipestone.
