This year’s theme of ‘Where Dreams Take Flight’ perfectly captures the awe of Balloon Fiesta. The chance to experience the event—especially from a balloon—truly is a dream for any traveler.

The Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau is offering travel lovers a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® Presented by Canon this October. Balloon Fiesta® is the world’s largest hot air balloon festival and is said to be the world’s most photographed event—visitors can see more than 500 balloons decorating the sky during the annual fiesta.

Now through September 15, visit http://www.VisitABQ.org/BalloonFiesta2015 for the chance to win this “Bucket List” experience, valued at $2,612. In addition to signing up for the sweepstakes, registrants can request a free 2015 Albuquerque Visitors Guide, which helps to make trip planning easy and fun.

The 2015 Balloon Fiesta Package for two is valid Oct. 6 - 9 and includes:

  • Three nights accommodation at the Marriott Pyramid North
  • Hot air balloon ride with Rainbow Ryders, Inc® Hot Air Balloon Company
  • Three days admission to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® with VIP access to the Gondola Club Hospitality Suite

Visitors to Balloon Fiesta can experience early-morning mass ascensions, evening balloon glow events, competitions, live music and sample Albuquerque’s world-renowned green chile.

In addition to all the activities surrounding Balloon Fiesta, visitors can immerse themselves in what locals refer to as the “magical season” in Albuquerque, with chile roasting, fall colors and incredible blue skies. And with several museums, exciting outdoor adventure opportunities, and unique shopping and restaurants, there’s always something to do when the balloons aren’t in the air.
