His depth of experience and knowledge are a tremendous resource for our agents and clients.

Vanguard Properties, one of Northern California’s most innovative independent Real Estate brokerages, has appointed Mark Chow as Sales Manager of its office at 199 New Montgomery Street in downtown San Francisco. He will head up a team of seasoned real estate professionals as Vanguard continues to expand its market leadership throughout the city’s thriving District 9 neighborhoods, including South of Market, Yerba Buena and Mission Bay.

Chow joins Vanguard Properties after 12 years at The Mark Company where he most recently served as Vice President of Sales. While at The Mark Company he managed nearly 50 project coordinators, sales agents and sales managers across 4 states in new development sales. He’s earned a reputation as a specialist in urban subdivision luxury properties, as well as mixed-use, adaptive re-use, conversion and condominium products.

“Mark is a highly respected leader within the San Francisco developer community, and his depth of experience and knowledge of the many high-rise developments and condominium projects are a tremendous resource for both our agents and clients,” said James Nunemacher, Principal at Vanguard Properties.

“Vanguard continues to sell more homes in District 9 than another real estate company,” noted Chow. “I think its market dominance is a reflection of Vanguard’s forward thinking approach to how real estate is now sold. I’m very pleased to be joining this amazing brokerage.”
