StraighterLine Names Chad McNeal New VP of Strategic Partnerships
(PRWEB) September 09, 2015 -- StraighterLine today announced it has appointed Chad McNeal as VP of Strategic Partnerships. McNeal had been at Service Source for over fourteen years, most recently as Vice President of Global Operations Services and will now take on the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships role at StraighterLine effective September 8.
StraighterLine has been widely recognized as one of the fastest-growing online education companies in the US. As the company continues to build out its market-leading solutions and curriculum, expanding the focus on partnerships is a natural evolution in its growth.
“Chad’s experience managing complex relationships with demanding partners is perfect for StraighterLine today,” said Burck Smith, CEO and Founder of StraighterLine. “Given our legacy in providing a valuable partnership model for Universities, Chad’s proven track record will allow us to scale this model into even deeper partnerships.
McNeal brings extensive leadership experience in client management and operations to StraighterLine. He served as Vice President of Global Operations Services for ServiceSource from 2013 through 2015. Prior to that, McNeal held progressive leadership roles at the company, including Senior Director of Client Delivery from 2010-2012, and Senior Manager of Business Excellence from 2008-2010.
"I am looking forward to joining the StraighterLine team," said McNeal. "I’m excited to join a company with a mission to help alleviate the tremendous cost of higher education in the U.S. and provide a jumpstart for students towards a college degree.”
StraighterLine solves the number one issue facing students today – the skyrocketing cost of college – with low-cost, high quality online courses that prepare students for success. Serving over 15,000 students a year, StraighterLine combines a $99 a month college course subscription with guaranteed credit pathways to accredited degree programs to save up to 60 percent on the total cost of a degree. StraighterLine takes the worry out of transfer with a College Savings Network of nearly 100 accredited colleges that guarantee credit acceptance of StraighterLine courses. Having been evaluated and recommended by the American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT), StraighterLine courses will also be considered by more than 2,000 other colleges and universities for transfer to their degree programs upon request.
