MCP has commercialized Tykote® 6160 for food packaging applications where outstanding oil and grease barrier and good press runnability are required. Tykote 6160 is the first acrylic product developed specifically to provide barrier to oil and grease products. This grade complements the extensive Tykote styrene-butadiene emulsion polymers that provide superior MVTR, and styrene-acrylic emulsions that balance MVTR and OGR. Additionally, Rovene 4119 and Tykote SBR products demonstrate very low Cobb results.
